Join Shana Grace Lloyd, of @MightyOakLearning, for a magical journey of planting vegetables together! In this session we will plant our Seed & Sprout Sunflower Garden, visit the farm at Stoney Creek Garden & Farm for more hands-on learning and get creativity with journaling & art. Shana Grace Lloyd, of @MightyOakLearning, is a trauma informed certified natured-based early childhood educator. From an early age, she found solace and inspiration in the outdoors. Her deep connection to nature has laid the foundation for her passion for environmental education and nature-based learning. Shana has continued to recognize the need for a more integrated approach to teaching that emphasizes the importance of interaction with the natural world. Her mission through her teaching, programs and workshops is to cultivate a future generation that not only learns from nature but also cherishes and protects it, ensuring a healthy planet for years to come. We are thrilled to have this collaboration with Shana to bring the Seed and Sprout Academy to Stoney Creek Garden & Farm.
